Accreditation and Certification

Our graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), 10801 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD, 20852, (800) 498-2071, ext. 4142.

Programs accredited by the CAA offer their graduates the assurance that the academic and clinical experience obtained through their programs of study meets nationally established standards. In addition, completion of the master's degree offered by a program accredited by the CAA guarantees that the graduate will have met the coursework and clinical practicum requirements for certification by ASHA.
