A Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from the University of Missouri requires a total of 120 credit hours, of which 76 credit hours are respiratory therapy courses (see Undergraduate Sample Curriculum). The length of the program varies, depending on credentials held, general education and prerequisite courses completed and your choice of part time or full-time enrollment. General education and prerequisites can be fulfilled through a local college or university, or through the University of Missouri Center for Distance an Independent Study.
