Sara graduated from the University of Missouri in 2000 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Respiratory Therapy. She worked for eight years at the University Hospital and was a member of the Children's Hospital Transport Team for seven years. Sara is now a clinical instructor and teaching Pulmonary Pathophysiology and Pediatric Respiratory Care didactic courses. Clinical interests include neonatal/pediatric respiratory care and asthma education. She lives in Columbia with her husband, Andy and sons Connor and Lucas. She enjoys reading, word puzzles, and needlepoint crafts.
