Certification
Upon completion of the Clinical Laboratory Science program, students receive a certificate that allows them to sit for American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification in Clinical Laboratory Science. The Clinical Laboratory Science program through the University of Nebraska Medical Center(UNMC) has a much higher pass rate than the national average on ASCP certification, with a recent graduate of the program achieving the highest score of all test takers from the UNMC program.
