Admission Information

Students apply during the first semester of the junior year (by November 1). A 2.5 cumulative and science coursework G.P.A. are required for admission to the BHS program in Clinical Laboratory Science. Students must be admitted to the University of Missouri. In addition, applicants must submit one letter of reference from a professor or supervisor in a clinical setting, an application for the Clinical Laboratory Science program, and agree to an interview prior to admission. The application process is competitive, and meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee admission.

The Test of English As a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

All applicants seeking admission to the Clinical Laboratory Science program must demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Applicants for whom English is not their native language may demonstrate proficiency by: 1) providing evidence of a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in the United States or from a university where English is the primary language of instruction, or 2) providing a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (paper-based test), 250 (computer-based test) or 100 (internet-based test).
