The University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Health Professions, seeks applicants for two full time tenure or non-tenure track faculty positions for the Bachelor of Health Science in Health Sciences program. The positions require a strong background in the health sciences and an ability to teach health sciences core courses including introductory public health courses. A commitment to teaching excellence at the university level, and prior experience teaching in an academic setting are required, with an earned doctorate preferred. Candidates who seek a tenure track must demonstrate ongoing or potential scholarly productivity. Position responsibilities will be focused on the new, vibrant Bachelor of Health Science program, but the successful candidate will have an academic home in one of the School’s departments. Faculty responsibilities will vary with expertise, scholarly productivity and School/Departmental needs.
Candidates must be eligible for appointment at assistant or associate level. Appointments commence July 1, 2010.
